Well, it seems that there is a low salmon run on the Skagit River this year and the eagles know it so they are elsewhere. We counted 15 on the way up and 17 on the way down, but the official count is still way higher. We were interviewed by the Skagit Vally Herald and got quoted! Roger and I had a really great time just being together.
We also saw many tundra swan and thousands of snow geese.
Notice the eagle in the middle of the flock of snow geese!
