We had a pretty good grape harvest this year. Of the 10 vines we have on the property, we got a nice harvest from eight of them. We crushed them over two days and are making six gallons of wine which works out to just over two cases or about 27 bottles. Since it took so long to pick and crush, they sat on the skins long enough to get a slight pink blush so it should be a pretty wine. The fermentation is done, now we wait for it to clear. Even then this will have to be filtered. Our first taste of the crush had a spicy flavor that we hope will continue.
