Mt Rainier Pictures

It is bittersweet to get back from a trip and have to decide which pictures are the BEST. I enjoy going back over our adventures, but the decisions... But I said that I would post some pictures and here are some of the 700-some we came back from Mt. Rainier with:

We stayed at the National Park Inn at Longmire. I believe the term is "charming," which means the bathroom is down the hall. But really, it WAS charming and the porch, which I am TOLD has a view of the Mountain, was a great place to hang out after hiking and drink tea.

This was all the peek we got of the mountain. This view was from Box Canyon on the southeast corner.

We took pictures of waterfalls like this one of Myrtle Falls above Paradise. Can you see the foot bridge at the top?
Here is my favorite picture. It is of the ptarmigan we saw within sight of the Paradise Lodge. She was a little shy, but every time she stuck her head up to check if we'd gone away I took a picture.
