Happy New Year to all.
Looking back it really has been an amazing year. This layout shows several of the places we've been this year - Skagit, Reno, Disneyland, Mt. Rainier, Astoria, Maui, Whidbey Island and Cannon Beach.
My daughter, Bethany, was just saying that since she graduated from High School (almost two years ago) I've gotten a job, started volunteering and generally blossomed (she hastened to add that I'm still not dressing fashionably.) Yes, there have been changes, yet that is what life is about. Speaking of changes, originally this blog was just a test. Then I decided that I would use it to keep people up on what me and the family are doing. It turns out that only my brother is reading this! My Sister-in-law that might be interested has a server that is too slow. My husband isn't interested and my friends are too busy or something. So I'll still keep my wonderful brother up to date, but I think the focus is going to shift a little - we'll see.
I'm reading a book titled "No One Cares What You Had for Lunch - 100 Ideas for Your Blog" by Margaret Mason. So - watch this space.
On another note, Roger and I are taking a couple of days to drive up the Skagit River and take pictures of eagles. We did this last year, but it was too late and many of them had flown off. Plus, this year Roger has his 400mm zoom and I can use his old 300mm zoom lens. Really, it is just an excuse for us to go someplace together.
