Recovery

Ya know, I think the more I’m doing the less time I give to tell someone about it – to journal or blog or even have lunch with a friend. I’m not sure that that is right. As I go through scriptures I constantly see that “it’s all about people.” Pastor Marc is “rushing” through Genesis, it’s been a month and we’re now on Chapter 2. In those two chapters God conferred with Himselves, God brought the animals to Adam to name, God walked in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve and Satan had a conversation with Eve. Jesus made time to talk with people – yes, he went away by Himself, but that was to recharge, not cocoon. Heaven knows I need more time in prayer.
Right now I’m still in the recovery mode from my summer. I’ve started Bible Study on Wednesdays and am keeping up with my volunteer work with the City of Tukwila on Thursdays. We haven’t heard much from the newlyweds, but I think that’s normal. Soon I’m hoping to see some pictures from the wedding. They tell me I was there, but all I remember is rushing around and not getting anything done. …And I miss my dad.
