Today was the final bible study of the year. On one hand I am happy to have a little bit more time, but on the other hand I will truly miss the fellowship of these dear ladies. Today the music, planned to celebrate the end of the studies, was "Victory in Jesus," "Surely Goodness and Mercy," "When We All Get to Heaven" and "He Leadeth Me O Blessed Thought." Then I saw the big picture. It isn't just the studies - its all the work that goes on before too! The vision that God gives, the research and study and planning and preparation by the teachers, then the execution and, finally, the celebration.
But wait! There is an even bigger picture. God had the vision long ago. He planned and prepared. There was an execution (on the cross) and we are just waiting for the celebration.
So... When we aaalll get to Heaaviin, what a daaayyy of rejoicing that will beeee!
