Corking

Dear Hubby can't stop making wine (and I'm not complaining.) It has been about 3 years since he's taken this old hobby back up again. He originally started making wine in the late 70s so he would have something to talk about with my dad. A lot has changed since then. The new kits are great!  The wine they produce is soooo much more drinkable than the old stuff. I think there has only been two weeks without wine making in the kitchen in the last three years. Each six gallon batch takes one to three months before bottling, then some wines shouldn't be touched for another three to six months.  My jobs are corking and tasting. Well, somebody's gotta do it! Our evening glass of wine is like getting reacquainted with an old friend.
