One of the items on my "Sand Pail List" (the" Bucket List", being what you want to do before you die - the "Sand Pail List" is what you want to do before the summer dies,) was go to the beach 3 times. This item has been on my list for three summers and this picture of Alki beach on Labor Day marks my fourth trip to the beach this summer! Saltwater park, Three Tree Point and Seahurst three days after it reopened from taking out the seawalls. Labor Day we met our friends Linda and Mark to walk down from their place, got fish and chips at Spuds and walked across the street to eat them with an audience of gulls. We may get a few more summer days here, but not many more that are more perfect than this.
