Seven Things I Learned in 2014

1.   Things can change in an instant.  Fortunately it was not a car wreck or heart attack that happened.  It was the selling of the company Hubby had worked for for 39 years that stole our feeling of security. It has allowed us to depend more on Jesus, but it seems we are not very good at that.  Something to work at in 2015

2.   I should say, “No” more.

3.   Listening.  I’ve been working on it.

4.   Make “Time for loved ones” a frequent priority. The new company (see #1) means less time with Hubby. We cherished that time when we lived it and really miss it now.

5.   Tell people that you are praying for them (and DO it.) I’ve been spending time with some powerfully praying friends lately and the glory rolls.

6.   Keep looking for the beauty all around. (See above) I may not have captured it all with my camera, but I saw it...

7.   Trader Joe’s fall pumpkin fest is worth it.

8.   There are some great aps out there (and some not-so great ones.)

I'm seriously taking in your #2. I think NO should be my word for 2015. Say no to good things so that we can do great things! Blessings.
